Baby Robins!
.
This lovely Robin chose to nest in my wisteria that rents a wall of my house. Luckily, this wall is next to where I park my toy hauler, thus I can look out the trailer windows to see her.
Sorry for the dirty windows 😕
Some of you may have noticed I've not been posting lately... After taking many 'Brand Development' classes and my brain being blessed with ADHD, I've chosen to make this account my personal account. I wanted to continue to follow the accounts I enjoy outside of nature, also.
The Naturarian was actually supposed to be a directory of local natural businesses... I liked the name, then tried to morph it into a landscape design business, then focus to wellness gardens... Well. According to the almighty 'They', They said I was doing it all wrong. Well, OK then.
Another reason was it seems not many folks were actually able to say 'Naturarian', let alone get what it meant.
You just said it to yourself, ha! 😏
It rhymes with 'Librarian'.
Now the directory thang makes more sense, right? Not so much for wellness gardening.
After recently being bestowed with some mobility issues, I needed to think about my future abilities. Climbing trees and physical labor are a thing of the past for me.
So, what do most do when they get old and have experience?
Write a book and teach others! 🤓
Everything is still in development, but @wellnessgarden.design will be the new biz digs and will be similar to what you've seen here. If that's what you'd like to see more of, I'd love to see you there.
In the end, only a few things will change here. I won't be so informational/formal in the captions, no more 3rd person 😅, I won't have a posting schedule and my gallery may not be as organized or pretty. I'm not going to be fussy with what I post, quality wise (The Robins wouldn't have made it on the biz page 😕). It will still be 95% nature, but maybe, just maybe, I'll take a selfie while my hair is still blue. 💙
Hit a creative block?
A study published in the journal PLOSone indicated that immersion in nature can boost creativity by as much as 50%! Participants in the study had to spend four to six days in nature, completely disconnected from all technology.
Psychologists explained that because of the gentle, more relaxing stimuli in nature, people’s attentional system becomes rejuvenated and able to function correctly, whereas in modern society, we constantly have to switch between tasks and become bombarded with loud, sudden noises.
If you have been struggling to bring out your creative energy, try spending more time in nature!

After spending time outside, have you ever noticed that you feel more lively, cheerful and refreshed? 😊
Well, there’s actually a scientific reason behind that!
Several studies have confirmed that spending time in nature increases vitality, and the research finds that just 20 minutes a day out in nature can significantly boost energy levels.
Richard Ryan, lead author of the scientific studies mentioned above and a professor of psychology at the University of Rochester, says, “We have a natural connection with living things. Nature is something within which we flourish, so having it be more a part of our lives is critical, especially when we live and work in built environments."
